Hi Friends,

After the holidays, the whole house came down with the flu and we are still trying to get rid of it but each day we are slowly getting things back to normal.  We are not normal under the best of circumstances but we are slowly getting back to our normal :)  So getting my new business venture up and running has been slow to say the least.  It is called The Groovy Daisy.   I am working on creating an online location so you can view and purchase my handmade items but for now you can view them on Google + and Pinterest and if you have an interest in purchasing any of them, you can contact me at thegroovydaisy@gmail.com.  So stay tuned to my blog for information regarding my online store.

I have finally started taking pictures and posting them to pinterest, Google+, facebook, and other social media so everyone can see what I am up to.  

I am playing catch up and busily creating items to sell plus currently (along with my awesome husband) trying to get the final things finished in my new studio.  Below are a few of the before pictures.  This room used to be a catch all room as you can see.  It is slowly becoming a colorful, work of art studio where I can be creative.

My 50th birthday

Well, I made it!!  I turned 50 today.  I am not sure what I think about being 50 only that it feels weird yet nothing is really that different. Today was like every other day except in the back of my mind, I kept thinking something should be different.  With nothing happening out of the ordinary, I decided to finally start my blog as my mark for this day.  I have been thinking of doing this all year long but one thing happened, then another and another and well you know time just passed by.  So my friends, welcome to my blog and I hope you enjoy all the things happening here in my little piece of heaven.
